H1N1 and The Education Community

The education community has been the hardest hit from the 2009 H1N1 virus.  This is because children and youth in close proximity easily transmit germs and viruses.  The opportunity for spread is at its greatest within these environments.  Academic institutions, therefore, carry the greatest burden in terms of disease prevention and response.  HIN has worked diligently to ensure that the academic community has stayed on top of its response to H1N1 and preventive measures.
